We are all concerned with keeping our children safe before, during and after school. This concern for safety extends beyond the physical, it includes their emotions, ideas, and morals. Are we concerned that they will be the targets of groups or individuals who would like nothing more than to "convert" our children to their way of thinking, using pressure and other tactics to reach their goals? What can we do about it? It's not just bullies we need to watch for anymore.
Should "non-teachable" students be removed from the classroom and assigned an alternative placement instead so as to not disturb or hold back" the academic progress of the rest of the class?
Should sexually explicit and gender reversal books, materials, and information be removed from access by the general school population, while making the classrooms "neutral" concerning the topics of politics, gender, religion, and other such "hot topics" as they were years ago?
Do you believe that Boys should participate in "Boys" sports & activities, and that Girls should participate in "Girls" sports & activities, and that everyone has the option to participate in Co-Ed sports & activities if they want?
Do you believe that the idea of a "Boys" bathroom/locker room and "Girls" bathroom/locker room should be just that, and those that feel they don't fit in have the option of using a Co-Ed "disabled" or "family" or whatever term is in use to describe a non-gender bathroom/locker room?
Should the schools maintain a "fair & equitable" treatment of all students, not guided by "politically correct" feelings of the day?
These are all ideas and topics that have been brought to our attention for discussion. please feel free to let us know how you feel, without being called out by one of the overused derogatory terms so openly being labeled upon anyone who speaks up to express their thoughts on a subject. These topics can be discussed and worked on without any labels or animosity involved.
